rosco
I know a few people have been to Goa, Runadrum for one, thinking of going for a couple of days just want to know what the casinos are like are there regular games?
avongirl
Re: casino's in Goa I'm pretty certain there weren't any as it's not legal there. :unsure The live tourney we went to was in a hotel complex not a casino. I think there was something off shore, although I do seem to remember a casino near the hotel they put us up in when our flight back was delayed. My memory is terrible, the lads will probably remember better. :$

Washman
Re: casino's in Goa There is a small casino in the hotel Helen and Duncan stayed in on the last night - but can't remember where it is! There is also a boat moored neared Panaji with a casino on board - but I think you'll be lucky to get a game of poker tbh. The boat was due to host the second Asian Poker Classic (the event that me, Duncan and The Mole played a couple of years ago) last month, but it was cancelled at the last minute. There is also an Indian Poker Tour being planned, which will visit Goa if it ever gets off the ground. Details here: http://www.indiapokertour.com/ If you can live without poker for a week, Thomsons do cheap flights direct to Goa once a week - beaches are fantastic, food and drink cheap as chips :ok

I'd forgotten that - fairly sure it was a separate building next door but doubt there were many if any card games going on in there. Don't remember the name of the hotel, only that we got the best room in the house 'cos it was the last one they had and they hadn't wanted to give it to the hoard of plebs with their delayed flight !
