chris34 Posted March 20, 2009 Share Posted March 20, 2009 :gimme 6.50 Gonna go with amber moon here, has had 2 wins and 2 places recently, last win came in a claimer back in handicap today and 13lb rise in handicap could be a little too much but looks so over priced its unbelievable is a horse that seems to just keep improving! Has previously won over course and distance 0.5pt e/w amber moon 7.20 Comes here tonight in good form, won over a slightly shorter distance at lingfield, has never won over this distance or course but does seems to have stripped fitter recently so step up in trip again tonight shouldnt be a problem. This horse is very consistent as proven by the form. Now, although the races it has been in has been not as competitive as this, it still has a good chance. There are about 4 or 5 decent horses in this race so it will be tough for him. However at the price of 16/1 I can see it at least getting a place. I do like the look of other horses in the race as well. Ridgeway Jazz is a consistent horse. With a recent win over this course and distance and a close second in a competitive race after, I can see this one going close. It's also off a decent mark with the trainer in some form. Gara Molly I really like the look of as well. Came 2nd LTO in a very competitive race over this distance and course. Has consistent form and came 2nd to the impressive Air Force LTO (form 1/1/2). As I said before, working very well so far but is there mathematical workings out needed to be done? I usually put the shortest odds one at 50% and the big odds on who I think have got a chance at 25% Is that an OK way of doing it anyone know? Other horses may get found out over this distance tonight!
