3.30 Wolv Flowing Cape - I fancy this for the Lincoln itself and will take a chance that it can overcome a wide draw to win the Lincoln trial here. Has shown good speed to win over 6-7 on last two starts here but is bred to get further and looks the least exposed runner in the field and open to further improvement. Has some decent juvenile form and seems to have fully recovered from the injury problems that kept him off the track last year. EW

Re: best bet of the day 7/3/09 3.10 SANDOWN~OVERSTRAND 0.5 E/W I think this 10yo has a decent chance on a dwindling mark. Last run would have blown the cobwebs away. A reproduction of some of his old form would see him go close and has won a couple around here and 40's is way to big imo.
