teaulc
The Grosvenor UK Poker Tour is pleased to introduce an exciting new way to qualify for their £1,000 Main Events, where even those who don’t claim the main prize of a seat in the tournament get a second chance to win some cash! In the new “Extra Bite†Satellites 10 players will compete for a seat, with the winner only eligible for 50% of any winnings in the Main Event. The remaining 50% will be distributed amongst the other participants as follows: 1st GUKPT Seat (for 50% of winnings) 2nd 10% of winnings 3rd-10th 5% of winnings Therefore if you get your aces cracked in the first hand of the satellite, you will still be eligible for 5% of any winnings that the satellite winner manages in the GUKPT event! Look out for these new “Extra Bite†satellites running 4 times a week starting on Wednesday February 4th at Blue Square Poker. Be sure to register early though as they are expected to fill up fast! Mondays 8.30pm $160+$10 Wednesdays 9.30pm $160+$10 Fridays 9.30pm $160+$10 Sundays 9.30pm $160+$10 Additional “Extra Bite†online satellites will be scheduled according to demand, and live equivalents will also be available during GUKPT Festival weeks in Grosvenor and G Casinos. GaF
Re: GUKPT "Extra Bite" Satellites on BlueSquare Very similar to Morls idea (and what Happy Hornet is looking to do online). Maybe PL could crash one of these tables at a set time for morls plan (so if 1 or 2 short, others can make the numbers up) - or if buy in is too high, ask Blue Square to set up a 20 seat one with half the buy in? (again as an SnG for PL to gatecrash at a set time....) EDIT: Ah - these arent SnG's - they're scheduled.....
