3.00 Doncaster Doctor David is in my ten to follow and although my ante-post bets for the Arkle seem to have gone down the swanny as I think he's swerving that race, I'm hoping he can recover my stake with a win here. I've taken 5.8 on Betfair and was impressed with him when he landed an almight gamble at Haydock last year. He started his chase career promisingly finishing not too far behind Afsoun at Warwick and then picked up novices races at Kempton and then Haydock, with the last coming in emphatic style. He goes on soft ground and the trip is fine.
