He was 9th here on his first start for Mark Brisbourne but has since found his feet and registered two subsequent wins, the latest of which came over course and distance four days ago. As that win came in an apprentices race, he runs unpenalised off 60 here, so must have a solid chance. Shane Kelly replaces a 5 lb claimer in the saddle and he can go well. 1 pt win
