Re: Blue Square GUKPT Leagues Dates are in the diary. :ok The GUKPT National League provides a competitive stage for online players to pit their wits against each other and against players in every Grosvenor or G Casino throughout the country in one central competition. Four separate National Leagues will be run in 2009 with a total of £100,000 in GUKPT Seats and cash prizes to be won! On top of this players will also be able to claim GUKPT Ranking Points and vye for a coveted Champion of Champions seat in each League. Each League competition will be run over 8 consecutive weeks (except the final League of only 6 weeks) with an Online Playoff scheduled a few weeks later for the Top 100 players. During National League competition periods, every Grosvenor Casino of G Casino live tournament with a minimum of 9 runners will contribute League Points (excluding Satellites and GUKPT Festival events). There will be 4 specified competitions taking place each week online at Blue Square Poker that will earn League Points. The online events for the GUKPT National league are as follows:

In addition, each player will receive 1 Point for entering each competition. So the more competitions you can enter, the better your chances of winning the league. As a result, live poker players from Grosvenor and G casinos have the incentive to compete in GUKPT National league online events, taking on the Blue Square Poker players in their arena and vice versa, Blue Square Poker players have the incentive to go compete in the Grosvenor and G casinos back yard!
