2.00 Southwell I posted Sabancaya in the FTTS thread at 10/1 on her last run a couple of Sundays ago and she was a well backed winner (5/1). Basically, I said she was crying out to be stepped up in trip because she had been staying on over slightly shorter trips but evidently lacked a gear change. She looked to have a chance off 52 that day given a few bits and pieces of form, most notably a 4th placed effort at Windsor when behind a couple of fair sorts. Sabancaya was a facile winner that day, travelling well throughout for Liam Keniry and the jockey was able to ease her down at the finish. Given the manner of that victory she could still be ahead of the handicapper running under a penalty here now she is running over more suitable trips.

Re: Southwell 13/1/09 Red Tarn 13:30 Southwell Finally won for the first time lto as the 11-8 favorite. Won here from a furlong shorter trip in an apprentice maiden event. Travis Block did well to win by a neck with 3rd another 12 lengths behind 2nd. Tom Eaves returns to the saddle and the extra furlong in trip should suit. Red Tarn does have his worst course effort from this distance but in better shape now. He went up 4 furlongs the first time trying this trip and that is plenty to ask for. Lost by 4 lengths that day but followed up with a 2/10 by 2 1/2 and a win over 11f. Has to be in the shortlist. 5pts ew @ 5-1 Tri Chara (IRE) 16:00 Southwell Two wins from two runs here. Both at 7f. Stable is in too good of a form to think the weights can stop stop him today. R Hollinshead in Class 5 that raced in a Class 5 LTO since 2008 have a good record. Must be running on the All-Weather. 112201 since 22Nov08 from 4 runners. 10pts to win Monaadi (IRE) is another 5 to 5 runner that might run on Thursday at Southwell.
