The finals will be played over 14 days between 24th November and 7th December 2008. Huge guaranteed prize pools All tournaments feature guaranteed prize pools. Suprised at the standard yet again its mad play considering the buyin being so big. I got lucky early on getting a double up with QQ's on a flop of K Q 10 didnt see what opponent had as he mucked. I then yo-yoed up and down getting to 11k when I ran my ak into QQ and lost and then managed to lose a further 3 50/50's which didnt help my stack much :) My final hand I was delt QQ in first blinds 300-600 with anti's and I only had just over 5k I raised in first, folded to bb who lumped putting me all in. I called and he showed KK... no help and im on the rail. I was in a massive pot with the best of it untill the last card decided it would not be my night. :wall If I had won that would have put me in 2nd out of the last 12 players and I would have really fancied my chances. As in stud the crucial pot my opponent turned his hand over and I was a mile ahead 3 cards later a different story.
