Do you consider yourself lucky or unlucky?

Let's face it, we all need a bit of help now and again, but I can't remember the last time I had a winner in a photo-finish. And yesterday, I was knackered in the afternoon, so I backed one horse (a favourite) on Betfar for a place. Normally I put in a lay at very low odds to protect my stake should the horse run well, but this time I didn't bother. The horse was Distinction, with Moore up. I went for a nap. Never saw the race, but apparently this beast and Mephisto were hampered 2 or 3 furlongs out. Mephisto wins the race while my nag is nowhere. I phone my mate who had had also backed Distinction, and he told me it went as low as 11/10 in running, to win. So it must have been a lot shorter odds for a place. And there were 13 horse races yesterday, with 11 of the favourites being placed. I managed to pick one of the only two races where it wasn't placed. So, I'm definitely in the 'unlucky' camp. How about you?

Definatly unlucky It all started from the moment I was born and came out with ginger hair despite my parents not having it, and my brother and sister are blonde (I've heard all the jokes, in fact I made most of them up myself :lol ). I got my mums short height and my dads bad knees! Basically most the worst genes! :\ I never win anything. The only time I won something of any note were 2 tickets to Lords to see a test and turned out I couldn't even go at the last minute! there are many stories I can't remember but I'm definatly unlucky in life!
