3.30 Plumpton Pepperoni Pete WIN Since being claimed out of Nicholls yard after winning a Class 4 claimer in April, the horse hasnt delivered at all. However, its record when fresh (3 month gap) reads 1-1-1-1-0 !!!!! It hasnt ran for 98 days so those stats must come into play despite the fact it was trained by Nicholls for all those runs. As a 4yo, the horse was locking horns with the likes of Wichita Lineman, Pangbourne, & even ran in the top novice chase at Kemptons xmas mtg which the excellent Mahogany Blaze won, with PP falling after a number of blunders. Its 16lb lower today than its top hurdles rating. 10/1 with Hills

Re: Plumpton 21/09 5.00 Plumpton 11 runners for this 2m5f handicap hurdle, Class 4. Open event going 5/1 the field so EW value to be found here, and the one for me is: Domenico (10/1 Betfred) - Should be capable of winning off a mark of 95 and has assistance of 'Choc' up top today. Looked to be coming to hand with a good 4th lto staying on well past beaten horses. All its best form on firmish ground so conditions will suit. Gets on well with the jock and not bad at this track either so solid EW claims.
