Guest Irish TW
Many people use the system of laying the draw before a live game then backing it again as soon as a goal is scored. However it seems that for live games if you want to back the draw before the game you should wait until as near as possible for kickoff, such is the demand to lay the draw that backers know they can ask for a higher price than normal. On the other hand, if you want to lay the draw, it's best to get in early (as in a few days before the game) as the draw prices are lowest then. This may not always be the case, and the difference may only be about 2 - 5% but as they say it all helps, particularly if you use a system like this which would have a fairly low yield. WorkingForTheEnemy
Re: Getting in early on betfair (live games) They were last week and I believe they were this week too. Not so if this is to be a permanent situation or not though.
Guest raylin47
Re: Getting in early on betfair (live games) A system used by a number of punters who want to lay the draw Can be quite lucrative 1 Lay the draw early at the best bookmakers odds (use oddschecker) 100 unit at say 3.30 possible loss 230 units 2 As soon as the lay is taken bet on the draw at say 3.50 80 units possible win 200 units This way you have a 20 unit lay bet with a possible loss of 30 units or draw at 30/20 =2.50 If your lay bet is taken but the odds go lower than 3,30 then the bookmaker can be used to cancell out any losses. Guest smudge
Re: Getting in early on betfair (live games) hi ray, but you can only lay the draw at the exchanges of course and although i have started to use betdaq lately i am really concerned about the liquidity there - for me betfair is the only place to be laying! of course you can carry out the backing part of the draw with any reputable bookie as long as you get a lower priced lay matched!
