The trainer is doing well with a moderate bunch this summer and the jockey takes a handy 3lbs off. 7/2 at the moment (4/1 in a place) and that looks about right.

Re: Best Bet Of The Day ~ Thursday 24th 2:10 at Sandown - DOCTOR PARKES - 1pt Win. This look like a straight choice between Ryan Moore's ART CORRESPONDENT and the selection. This is a 5f race and the selection has only had 1 race, at 6f. It was absolutely steaming home when caught in the last 1/2f and eventually finished 3rd. It had 2nd beat at 5f and the 2nd place has since gone on to slaughter a 5f field. It looks to have the breeding, pace and class to do well. I can't take anything away from the main danger though, who looks a useful type in itself and will win races as a 2 y.o. - on its debut it looked green and I'm not convinced it won't hang badly in the closing stages today, but when the penny drops it will certainly be winning races at this grade. I'd like to copy and paste this to the Sandown thread, but I've got a new Apple MAC (blame the missus) and I don't know how to copy/paste on this - anyone know how? Or can anyone paste it in there for me? Cheers.
