7.35 Elhamri - has been running in some decent races of late and only went down by a length LTO in a tight finish. Been dropped 1 lb from last turf appearance (12/18 at York and well beaten) but had won off 85 at Goodwood prior to that in a better race than this. Decent apprentice claims 5 lbs to drop him 1 lb below previous winning mark. Down in grade from last turf run could have a shout at 10/1. 9.10 One runner in the field that loves the steep climb up the Pontefract stretch is Bid For Gold, who has recorded CD form of 3141 (last run here was last month). Disappointed at Newcastle off current mark of 65 LTO but has won off 70 in the past and will go on any ground. 6/1

Reasoning	He has had excuses for not winning recently and the recent run of 3rd places have been respectable. The jockey took a strange route on his seasonal debut at Doncaster but nevertheless won the stands side. Next time at Haydock, he won the unfavoured far side easily. He didnt get a clear run at Chester and the ground was probably too soft last time. Needs things to go his way but is entitled to be involved.
