robsterling
Just started my first account on Boss and can't believe how bad the software is. It's like going back to the dark ages! Only just restarted playing cash as my laptop was broke so was playing a lot of HU sit and gos on Stars - I think I got used to how good the software was there. Lack of resizable tables and the awful lobby are big negatives in my opinion. Also when you make the tables small you lose all the bet pot, 1/2 pot, 3/4 pot bet sizes. I find this makes it almost impossible to play 4 or more tables (for me anyway) as I have to constantly be typing in betsizes (and the time bank isn't very big). Unfortuntately my monitor isn't big enough to play 4 screens of full-size without a lot of overlap either. Was wondering how anyone else who multitables on Boss copes? Or if any of you use bet-pot scripts or anything? The only upside to the Boss network that I can see thus far is the totally awful players and the rakeback + bonus deals they have. SteveO
Re: Boss Network Yeah I found the mini tables uplayable also. I just play fullsize tables overlapping the "good" thing with the Boss software is that the table instantly pops up when you need to act next so you don't have to constantly keep clicking between overlapping tables. GaF
Re: Boss Network Mini tables can be ok - for example I like the microgaming ones - they work :ok However the Boss ones are pretty poor. Boss is ok up to 2 or 3 tables, but beyond that not particularly playable (for me). The "focus" doesn't work if you have 2 tables needing attention at the same time - once you've dealt with one, it doesn't go back to the first one. Tables can sometimes put themselves to the top for focus when it's not your turn and theres another table underneath where it is your turn....
