The horse ran string of four 2nds last autumn and returned with a win after 6 months break off just 2lbs lower at Towcester two races ago. He was disappointing next time, but against better horses. Conditions are in his favour today and this track will suite more. Back in his grade as well. Paddy Brennan rides well for this trainer, and the yard is not in bad form either with two 2nds and a winner lately. An e/w punt at 15/2 with odds guarantee looks a terrific value.

Re: Best Bet Of The Day ~ Monday 16/06 500 Sedgefield : Russian Sky 1pt win Won well at Perth but gone up a lot in the weights, this race is much weaker so I reckon he could get away with it here. Steps back in trip so is sure to make it a real test from the front, in very good form and likes the track and the ground is perfect as long as the rain stays away. Danger looks to be McCoys mount but that one has disappointed a few times when chances looked good and that one has also been raised since it last run, just not sure of that reproducing his best where as Russian Sky hardly ever runs a bad race. At 3/1 it looks a fair bet.
