Re: Sandown 21/05/08 7.05 Mukhber 7.5 pts e.w 9/2 wh In terms of winners, gosden is in quieter form than earlier in the season, however his string is by no means running badly as shown by a recent winner and this one although slightly disappointing that he has not really built on first win, should not be ignored. Won his maiden quite eye catchingly, never in the race really before flying at the death under quite a quiet and 'educational' ride. Two starts this season have both been fourth, one in a good race at don (my 200/1 derby fancy behind on unsuitable ground) and then at yarm when ran a similar race. Ideally I think he needs further and he looked one pace at the finish lto to possibly indicate that but the stiff finish here may just make up for that at the end although could be vulnerable to a speedier type.
