stewartd14
There looks to be a couple of decent bets at Musselburgh today, and the first one comes in the Claimer. 3.10 Funfair Wane This horse has been well backed since Dandy Nicholls withdrew his other horse and this looks a great chance for this animal to get back to winning ways. He has been running really consistently over todays trip in a variety of races and due to this his handicap rating has risen recently. Despite that, though, he ran well in a decent handicap at Catterick last time out. Today he drops back to claiming level, but he is back on turf and that should see him improve on his last run in this company. Trainer is a bonus and has to be todays NAP @ 13/8 4.40 Stoic Leader Like to follow this horse at the northern meeting as he often springs a surprise. He carries top weight today as he drops down in class but he looks capable of handling it. After some consistent runs in Class 5 company, he was stepped up to Class 3 company at todays track. He ran creditably only beaten 2 1/2 lengths and should enjoy being back at this level. He loves the track and should put up a bold show at a decent price. Selections Funfair Want WIN @ 7/4 Stoic Leader WIN @ 9/2 :ok
billy the punter
Re: Musselburgh - 19th May It looked to be that Funfair Wane wasn't enjoying himself at all. Hated the ground I think, wouldn't write him off in the grade.
