Great Leighs: 8 May 2008

Re: Great Leighs: 8 May 2008 Backing all of these to place.... Great Leighs 6.10 - Loose Caboose This one was a course and distance winner two runs ago at this level, beating joint favourite We Have a Dream by a neck. She has been in good form in general over the past couple of months and if a recent turf run at Thirsk can be ignored then her form on the AW reads 2112 between March-May. She seems effective over either 5f or 6f, and although her rating has increased 3 lb since her last run here she was beaten by only a neck off her current mark of 75 LTO at Lingfield to suggest she is still improving. The jockey booking of Seb Sanders is also a plus. Great Leighs 6.40 - Basra This one was recruited from Ireland and landed its first win for its current trainer over course and distance last time out a couple of weeks ago when it was subject to some support in being backed into 13/2 from 9's. Although it is up 5 lb in the handicap for that win it is dropped in class so could make the frame again. Great Leighs 7.10 - Mumbleswerve Scored in a maiden stakes race last time out when it ran on well to lead inside the final furlong. Although it is up in class here and may struggle against Swop, who won well on his debut for Luca Cumani, it may still have place possibilities under the guidance of JP Guillambert once again. :hope
