Nans Joy - Goodwood 3.40 1m Listed Race Nans Joy has a look of consistency about it and can go close today at a decent price against the favourite. 3rd in a listed Kempton race last time out but that was seasonal reappearance. It's last run in June 07 saw it finish 2nd, hampered and still only lost by 1/4l in a listed race on soft so todays good to soft conditions should be fine. Also 4th in a decent race at Epsom which included Nannina and Harvest Queen, last years winner of this race. Likes to front run and those tactics may work well in this small field. I can see why Sweet Lily is favourite but that only has 1 win from last 11 races and has a tendency to swish its tail which I am not a big fan of. With 9 runners due to go to post I can't really see this out of the first 3 and will take this ew instead of taking the favourite at a price way too short. Suggested Bet 5pts EW 8-1 >Betfred

Re: Goodwood 03/05/08 4.15 - Malapropism - CD winner last season and came close off a 1 lb lower mark than todays rating LTO at Bev (Fire up the Band and Wyatt Earp behind). Apprentice claims 7 lb today so can get closer than that 2 length defeat LTO. 10/3.
