Kempton 22/04/08

3.00 Kempton Greylami's maiden win has worked out ok with the well beaten 2nd bolting up yesterday off 68. His last run can be ignored and will appreciate this longer trip. Will be no surprised if he leaves last season's 2yo behind when tried at these sorts of trip this season. Hard to know what to make of Boy On A Swing's form and the handicapper hasn't taken any chances with him. He always looked sure to improve when tried over middle distances and he won at his first attempt at 1m4f. There may be more to come now he is racing over the correct distance. House Of Lords beat a poor field on his debut when well backed. Spencer rides well for the yard and has to be mentioned at the price, even though a weaker race may be needed before he has a say in handicap company. Resplendent Light was entered at Royal Ascot for his debut but it was always thought he would be a better 3yo. He did win at two though when upped to a mile, in a Nursery beating today's rival Higgys Boy. He is 6lb higher today but fully expected to improve for the extra 3f. Most of the yard's runners ran well last week. Sire's progeny do well on A/W. Higgys Boy would be value IF he stays, he took the eye last time when suffering suffering for the lack of pace. Greylami 25% of stake 4.1 betfair Boy On A Swing 25% of stake 11 betair House Of Lords 20% of stake 11 betfair Respelndent Light 30% of stake 4.45 Kempton Yamal managed to win on his debut over 6f despite starting slowly. The form is working out well with the 2nd winning and the third beaten only a length off 69 NTO. Could be well treated here and sure to appreciate step up to 7f. Rehabilitation is another who has won his only start. He beat the fair yardstick Ink Spot, who has since finished 2nd in a big field off 76. Not harshly treated for that win (78) and could go on. Stable is a little in and out though. Has a couple of furlongs to get his position from his wide draw before the bend comes. Hunt The Bottle has some useful 2yo form and this is a very interesting jockey booking. Spencer has previously ridden three other runners in the field. Emperors Jade was one of those and although Spencer has deciding against him he should appreciate this new trip. Draw a worry though. Yamal 70% of stake 4 betfair Rehabilitation 20% of stake 13 betfair Hunt The Bottle 10% of stake 10 betfair

Re: Kempton 22/04/08 Plum Pudding 4.10 Kempton Interesting that connections have put this back out so quick after a poor run at Newbury last Saturday. Drops down a class and back on the AW with cheekpieces fitted I think he could run a good race at a decent price. 6/1
