First little session this afternoon on Absolute. FR NL10 $4 buy in 175 hands +£4.10 A winning start, thanks to KK mainly :) One hand below I think I did not play well was this AK - I should of probably do a 2/3 bet after the flop and if any one came back at me folded - what do you think? Re: The Poker career of a FISH !!! First question - why are you buying in for just 40xBB? It can be a valid strategy, and this isn't an implied criticism - but it changes your game, and the way you play your hands - be aware that it's a different game that requires a different strategy to deeper stack games. I like your PreFlop raise. A continuation bet on the turn is the standard play here, especially with 2 checks to you - however at these stakes, opponents are less willing to put hands down, so I dont mind too much the way your check. Calling the 30c bet on the turn, again probably reasonable enough - it's such a weak bet and a Ten, A King or an Ace may give you the best hand (13 outs - about 25% to hit) It's a pretty small bet on the end, but you have to lay your Ace high down.
