just wondering about everybodys views on my play during this hand as its been bugging me a bit:eyes it was a bit of a wierd live situation that turned a hand from a probable fold into a call that did end up taking me out,but i still feel it was the right thing to do:ok was down to the final 7 in the £20 freezeout at aspers. i was in last position but 2 others had very similar stacks i had about 40,000.the chip leader had about 160,000 and the 3 others had about 100,000-110,000 .blinds were 4000 -8000 and i have ace 10 on the bb. utg+1 goes all in ,he is on a similar stack to me and with the blinds he could be pushing with less than i have, funnily enough i find out i'm right sooner than i expected:loon folds round to the chip leader who calls ,he has been loose and apt to call the small stacks down if possible . my ace 10 doesnt look great and i'm temped to let the big stack take him out hopefully as 6th place payed £70 more plus i still have enough chips for a little while. i also wanted to win as first was £1450 so a nice 120k pot would help:ok as i sat and thought for a while the guy who went all in first didn't notice i hadn't folded and turned his cards:eek he shows kjos so my guess about him with okish cards was right:) as he turned the cards the big stack gave a little ohhhh so by then i had him on a small/mid pp ,as it looked like they were racing by his reaction;). i thought for a while longer and eventually called knowing im at best only just favourite, but pretty sure that my read on the big stack was correct. he turns 55 :). in the end the other small stack spiked a j to beat the 10 i hit on the flop and im out:puke its definately not a bad beat story as i knew it was pretty much evens as to who would win the hand :ok i'm just wondering what everybodys views were ,whether they would call to get a nice big stack but risk the fact that %60 of the time your going out:unsure

Re: Strange live situation from aspers £20 freezout on friday I would have called also. Your Ace is obviously slight favourite over KJ and slight underdog against small pair and you're getting over 2/1 on your money where you're about a 6/4 shot. Also the fact that you only had 5 bbs it's a no brainer, you probably won't get a better situation to get your money in.
