3.00 THE WHISPERER trainer Nicky Richards has decent record at Kelso and this horse won well enough at newcastle in febuary over 3m,so todays shorter trip of 2m6f should be fine, the best horse in the field and should win this.

Re: Kelso 07/04/08 500 Kelso : Heez A Steel EW Been running consistantly well without winning and as a result the handicapper hasnt given him a real chance to date. Trainer has taken things into his own hands today by giving his young jockey the leg up, as he's retained by the stable he gets the full 10lb allowance, a massive help in a tight handicap. The rider Mr Kocman showed his talent when winning on Bonnie Rock so i'm ok with that. The horse has a decent chance in his own right anyway in my opinion, his form reads well at the track and the distance is what he needs nowadays, the extra weight allowance could just make it the day to get on, sure to be in the frame so will go EW, just a bit worried by the Richards horse who may have been kept quiet for an handicap such as this?
