BillyHills
330 Stratford : Le Corvee EW Just 5 runners in this Novice Chase, the fav Manhattan Boy is poor value, hasnt looked liked winning over fences yet, beaten a mile behind Noland and last time was flattered to get so close to a rival that was much too good. Josea the second fav scrambled home at Hereford last time from a horse who didnt want to win so that form looks dodgy especially when the fav that day ran no sort of race either. The rag Sternenzelt has it all to do. This leaves Daryal and Le Corvee, both fair value, Daryal's jumping is a concern for me and the fact that he hasnt got to within 30l of the winner in his three runs puts me off. Le Corvee showed some promise when behind Pepperoni Pete at Sandown and then finished second at Doncaster, showing he can at least jump round two tough courses. He then had a break and has had two runs on the flat, had one more run since over fences at Leicester, again jumped ok but the tacky ground that day just found him out. This track which he has won over twice suits and the good ground will also improve him, at around 6/1 at the moment looks value. Stratford 3.00 EW Two runners here may be worth small EW bets against the top two in the market, Strategic Plan is definitely better than he has shown so far, had problems with bleeding but ran on ok last time, at 25's is value. Diamant Rose form looks awful but forget the last run, got badly hampered and had a kid on board that couldnt hold him, plenty of equipment fitted today and Johnson in the saddle, we may see a different horse today, again could be value at around 20/1. SmallTimePunter
Re: Stratford ~ March 3rd 2:30 Startford - ST SAVARIN - Good Class flat horse for Richard Fahey, If this takes to hurdling will certainly take some beating with its flat speed. The horses from the big stables dont appear to be anything special, looks like a great opportunity for this to get off the mark. Jamie Moore also at Stratford for one ride only. Currently 4/1 with Betfred. 3:00 Stratford - KINGSCAPE - This horses first run it finished 4th behind Group Captain beaten only 6 3/4L. The first 3 in this race have all gone on to win since, so form is very solid, even though 2nd that day was 50/1 form has been proven. Next run was too far for Kingscape in a Class 2 event, back down to Class 4 & at the correct distance, Kingscape can open its account. Currently 9/4 is available with various bookies.
