Debut run at Hunt was not too bad when just beaten and then lto at Asc. it was a bit disappointing as fav. when beaten but the ground may have been too soft then and it may just have been a good race, Binocular holds strong TH claims and Crack Away Jack from that race won well the other day. 2.35 Sir Harry Ormesher SP 15 pts Moved to King yard and interesting recruit, Junior a similar recent recruit ran well yesterday. Decent bumper form, if not outclassed in Chelt bumper but won hurdle debut well and then third behind the decent deep Purple lto. Kia Kaha the biggest threat. 4.20 Arnold Layne 6/4 Betfr 15 pts The reason why McCoy is not riding at the moment but that was a somewhat unusual for a horse progressing well before that and the fact McCoy wanted to ride it in a top handicap race speaks volumes. It can handle the ground well, stays well and as long as the fall lto has not taken too much confidence out of him then obvious claims.
