Re: ** Poker Thursday 14th February **

What's the monetary value of 25000 V points? And how many runners does it typically get?
Normally around 100 entrants! Here's the breakdown of points! 1 POINT = 1 pence V*ROLL SATELITES Position V*POINTS 1st 7,500 2nd 5,000 3rd 3,000 4th 2,500 5th 2,000 6th 1,500 7th 1,250 8th 1,000 9th 750 10th 500 MONTHLY V*ROLL Position V*POINTS 1st 20,000 2nd 17,000 3rd 15,000 4th 13,000 5th 10,000 6th 9,000 7th 7,000 8th 5,000 9th 3,000 10th 1,000 TQM

Re: ** Poker Thursday 14th February ** Cheers fella's. :ok

Ok - I've made the V Roll focus (Sorry to mess about Helen :$) in the absence of much else.... so get those raked hands in :ok
Virgin = £250 (25000pts) between approx 100 runners Stan James = £500 ($1000) between approx 200 runners So in effect, there is identical value in both although the SJ only has 10 RH requirement so could be argued it's easier to 'qualify' for. Although to balance that out I believe you can get a RH at virgin on the lower limit tables whilst at SJ it has to be minimum pot of $5 (this can be achieved at the lower levels but takes a bit longer). That also means the Stan James Grand Prix on Tuesdays which has $1500 prize pool (£750) but the same approx 200 runners represents better value than the V Roll game. Just some food for thought for the future..... :)

Re: ** Poker Thursday 14th February **

Have to agree with You Hodgey it is better value' date=' the standard of play can also be quite atrocious befor it eventually settles down a bit Also the sunday roast is great value for 100 rhs.[/quote'] Agreed the Sunday Roast is good value too. Have played it a couple of times earlier this year, but now my cash exploits are at Gnuf cos they didn't have a minimum requirement for rakeback (unlike SJ) so haven't played it since.

Re: ** Poker Thursday 14th February **

There are far more PL'rs who have funded accounts at Virgin than Stans - although similar value' date=' VPoints focus game would get significantly more PL entrants than Stans Focus game.....[/quote'] Agreed, but in the interests of variety and value I think you should nominate the SJ games once in a while. You might be surprised at how many people play it (you might not but won't know unless we try! :loon) Also it does get a bit tedious seeing the V Roll game as focus every time especially as it is not the best value game. :)

Re: ** Poker Thursday 14th February **

OK - I'll put stans down as focus next Thursday :ok EDIT - maybe the Thursday after - next Thursday is the Blue Square Once in a Blue Moon
:ok Just to note though what I said above, the Tuesday's offer more value cos the prize pool is 50% more. :ok

Does Gnuf pay rakeback?

Sure does mate at 30%. Send 'em an email and they'll add you to the scheme which they call VIP Program. And no minimum requirement level of rake. If you are a Prima cash player here's the other offers I got when I was trying to get a deal: 32Red - 30% min $500 rake/mth (their first offer was 10%) Nordic - 30% min $200 Purple Lounge - equivalent to 30% via their points system but they took so long to add me to the scheme I went elsewhere. Royal Vegas - 40% min $1500 Stan James - 25% min $500; 30% min $1000 Hope this helps. :ok

And Prima doesn't crash/lag/boot you out! :loon
