E12.50 Bernard 0.5pt E/W Probably the best jockey in the race on this one in an amateur riders race - which is always a help. Also right down near the bottom of the handicap and a CD winner. Each way pays 4 places and I fancy this to at least make the frame at a double figure price. Also looks like a lot of deadwood in the field so anything like a reproduction of its course running would be good enough to be in the mix.

Re: Best Bet of the Day ~ Thursday 20th Dec 320 Exeter: Helen Wood : LAY (11/4 in RacingPost) Rightly or wrongly i believe Helen Wood was flattered to get within a neck of Benetwood last time out, the winner hated the ground and idled in front. I think this is a bit tougher with the likes of Harringay, Colarado Pearl and Back On Line to name just a few in opposition. Also a couple of unexposed sorts at bigger prices so all in all i'd prefer to take Helen Wood on than back it at this sort of price.
