Open heat, going 5/1 the field, and I'm EW on one that is not necessarily in the greatest of form but has a great shout in the form of: Shaheer (9.4 / 3.0 on Betfair) - Form figures of 860 don't look too appealing at first glance. However, delve further into this and this horse looks sure to run a big race. Dropped in weights by 3lb to a lowly mark of 50 allows this horse to take its chance in a 0-52 handicap, having recently been campaigned in 0-60 events. Goes well here at this track and has favoured jockey back up top. Those last 3 runs have come after a near 5 month break, and this horse seems to improve with each run. Gap of 7 days in between each race, but today has benefitted from 2 weeks off. Now back to full fitness, eased in grade, on fav AW track with fav jockey, this horse should come good for EW punters.
