Just thought I'd post this up in case anyone is in the area and wants to pop along to rail me and Kippe! :D

Congratulations! You have won a seat at the Pub Poker Live Grand Final in London on December 9th! You will be joined by 19 other poker players, to battle it out to be crowned the 2007 Ladbrokes Pub Poker Champion! The winner of the live final will win the first prize of a $5,500 Ladbrokes Poker Cruise package. The pub that the winner is representing will also win a Ladbrokes Poker Cruise package! For full details about the Ladbrokes Poker Cruise, please visit: http://poker.ladbrokes.com/pokercruise Your seat at the final is non-transferable, and so please make sure you can make it! It is on December 9th at the Ladbrokes Casino & Sports Bar in London, Paddington. The fun starts at 2pm, where you will be able to get a drink from the bar and a bite to eat before settling down to the main event, which should get underway at about 3pm. And of course don't forget to invite your landlord and your friends down to support you and cheer you on! Full details about the final can be found online at: http://poker.ladbrokes.com/pub As per Casino Laws, you will need to become a Casino member before being allowed to take part in the tournament. It costs nothing to join, and only takes a few minutes to do, but you will need Valid Photo ID so remember to bring your driving licence or passport. Please also allow plenty of time to sign up, as it will no doubt be quite busy on the day. If you want to save a bit of time, you can download a membership form to fill in at home from http://www.paddingtoncasino.com/membership.htm – however please remember to bring it with you along with your Valid Photo ID to complete your registration in person at the Casino. Unfortunately, if you forget your ID and the Casino refuses you entry, you will not be allowed to play in the final and will forfeit your seat. The Ladbrokes Casino & Sports Bar can be found next to London Paddington tube and train station. There is also a good bus network, as well as limited car parking in the area. $300 will be deposited into your account within the next 24hours as a travel and expenses allowance. For more details about the Ladbrokes Casino & Sports Bar and how to get there, please visit: http://www.paddingtoncasino.com/findus.htm

Just back home early hours this morning. There's a message on ansaphone from Ladbrokes Press Office from Thurs, but when I rang today not surprisingly there's no-one there. Thanks for all the good wishes. :D Both me and Duncan have come home with bad cold (I knew outdoors was bad for you), but I think we will still battle on to London and hope I can put everyone off (except kippe) with my sneezing and coughing. :tongue2 We are planning to drive to Watford to leave the car and catch train in from there, so hopefully see you around 2.00 Kippe. :hope

Re: Ladbrokes Pub Poker Final - Sunday 9th December Just been on the phone to Duncan - they're down to the last 4 now. Kippe and Avon both still in :clap:clap:clap:clap But, there is a big chip leader (not sure how many chips), Kippe and avon both on about 7k (started with 3k). :hope

Re: Ladbrokes Pub Poker Final - Sunday 9th December I didn't realise you two were from here. I don't post much on here but I visit occasionally. Kippe, if i've worked it out correctly you were the one on my right that said pushing with 72o was not something you could do. I thought that was a punter's lounge favourite? I certainly remember someone winning with 72o in the Betfair Grand Prix last year? I have to say I had some good fortune today when priced into a couple of calls! Sorry Helen!

Hi Mike - trying to work out who was on kipper's right, does that mean you are the guy that won it then? :clap This was my first proper live MTT (other than PL meets) so was really happy with the way I played. Will post up a bit more tomorrow, need tea and sleep now. :zzz
