Re: lay of the day friday 405 Ayr : Captain Gerrard (4/6 fav) Probrably barking up the wrong tree here but i just think this is a value lay at the prices, no doubting the ability but one or two in this race are liable to improve and the fav is pretty exposed now, the trainer has had only one winner this month and that was a short priced one and i think the horse will have to be 100% to win this, excuses last two defeats by connections which i dont like so at 4/6 i wouldnt want to be backing him.
