Re: A-League Round 1 - Wellington vs Melbourne (Sun 25th Aug) 60m Wellington Phoenix 0 - 2 Melbourne Victory Nice bit of play by Melbourne with some crisp passing and Danny Allsop is on his own in the penalty area and slots an easy goal. Against the run of play to be honst as the Phoenix have been playing well.

Re: A-League Round 1 - Wellington vs Melbourne (Sun 25th Aug) 78m Wellington Phoenix 1 - 2 Melbourne Victory Well deserved goal for Wellington scored by Daniel after a corner. The phoenix are attacking strongly and have had plenty of chances without taking any, except for the goal. The Victory's finishing has been the difference.

Re: A-League Round 1 - Wellington vs Melbourne (Sun 25th Aug) Sensational last 20 minutes as Wellington served it up to Melbourne and they had one shot hit the post after the keeper was beaten, then Shane Smeltz had a free header at goal but put it over the bar. Exciting stuff from the home team and considering they ,issed a penalty they should have really won this game. FT: Wellington Phoenix 2 - 2 Melbourne Victory 19m Muscat (MV) 60m Allsopp (MV) 78m Daniel (WP) 84m Smeltz (WP)

Re: A-League Round 1 - Wellington vs Melbourne (Sun 25th Aug) Brilliant match, that last 20 mins is among the best football ive seen in the A-League in the 3 years ive been following it. Wellington showed great composure to comeback from 2 goals down and really should of gone on to win.
