I don't know if anyone else is interested in this but I've been keeping an eye on the satellites to the main events, which start around the $200 mark and rise to $2,600 for the main event which carries a $5,000,000 prize pool guaranteed. I've already tried a couple of satellites to the Razz and intend to try again. Is anyone else? :unsure

Re: Poker Stars WCoOP Theyve got satellites for Razz now !!! excellent, I looked about a month ago and it was the only event without any sats advertised so was contemplating buying in direct, so yes if they are being held at a decent time, I'll be giving it a go.

Re: Poker Stars WCoOP I don't think they're at a reasonable time mate tbh. The ones I played in on Tues/Weds were around midday for about $8 and the 'semi-final' sat's were $39. I did see one yesterday though around mid afternoon so maybe you'll have the opportunity. I posted a whinge in Poker Chat when I just missed out on a seat last week.

Re: Poker Stars WCoOP There is one good way to win a seat. Thats how I won mine and many other times I cashed in. If you go to WCOOP/ Cash Satellites, you will see SnGs to all events. Everything is pretty dead, but on of them fills up quite well. Its 36 ppl double shootout. Now you have to win one table to basically get your stake back. It costs $8.8 and after wining 1st table you are on the FT. This is pay out: 1st seat 2-4 $20 5 $13 I think its a pretty good deal. Im already in the next one. 26 in :hope Edit: I play very tight on the 1st table as there are many loose players. When blinds get to 50/100, I play very L/A

Re: Poker Stars WCoOP

interesting heniek - but do you find the second round tough in double shootouts - as the table will all be winners?
Well, first one bubbles, so first 5-10 hands is the tightest game you will ever see (or completely opposite) :lol. But then, theres always one who will try to take advantage and starts playing aggressive. He is usually first out :ok. Normal STT resumes after that.

Re: Poker Stars WCoOP BUGGER!!!! :wall I just played a WCOOP satellite. 455 or so runners, 45 places awarded. I got up to about 14k chips and decided I'd be fairly safe to qualify without taking any aggressive risks. By the time I started to realize it was going to be closer than I thought, my stack was so small that I had no chance of stealing, and I got no hands to speak of from then on. Finally, with barely enough for a big and a small blind (and antes), I was big blind with J2s. Everybody folded except for one of the big stacks, who raised. I called and he had 86o ... I was favourite!!! :loon ... and the flop was 975 :cry. Oh well, at least I got my money back for finishing 48th.

Re: Poker Stars WCoOP Just found out Arulx also on Raymer's table is one of many online stars including coming 3rd in sunday million, when looking at that i saw a familiar name 'BrainGuy' who came 2nd in sundaymillion had also won $200 buy in event for a combined $280k, he's still in with 8k, another online star to look for is jcampy33 who's on 17k right now. Hachem on 9k, was about to say Raymer on 13k when he went all in with broadway against a slow played set of kings, another king on river and the Fossilman is toast,:( but he's taken it well as champs do!
