Morris
Re: Tennis 23-29 July Strength 8/10 - Guccione To beat Rochus - Ladbrokes - 11/10 Christophe Rochus has had a poor year and has failed to make an impact in any tournaments since last years ATP Masters series in Miami (15th May 2006). Wheras Chris Guccione has been having a breakthrough year, where he has finally got intop the worlds top 100 with good perfoirmeances on the grass court season. Although this is not on grass, I fancy that Guccione's big serve and good play can take him through to the next round against a poor Rochus who has only once this year got past the 1st round on the ATP circuit and has been performing poorly on the challenger circuit. H2H is 0:0. Strength 10/10 - Gaudio To beat Ramirez Hidalgo - Coral - 11/8 Gaudio is not a bad player, but has suffered a slump in form. He played magnificent at the French Open where I saw him take apart and dominate Hewitt for the first 2 sets. He has a great backhand would not look put of place within the top 20 of the rankings. But, he is said to be diillusioned with Tennis and looking to retire which is worrying when you go to back him. He is going to give it one last push before he actually hangs up his racqet and I think this is the ideal oppurtunity to get his career going back in the right direction As for Ramirez Hidalgo, he is solid clay court player, but I doubt he is a quality player and he has never broken into the worlds top 50, wheras Gaudio once had a world ranking of 5, 2 years ago. H2H is 2-1 in favour of Ramirez Hidalgo, but in the most recent encounter, Gaudio won on the hard courts in Florida. Strength 8/10 - Benneteau To beat Querrey - Stan James- 13/8 Julien Benneteau is another solid Frech player who has been putting in solid performances all year and IMO is a better player than Querrey. They have had two meetings this year on hard courts which Querrey has won, this is why Benneteau is the outsider, but I think that he has much more quality than Querrey and can avenge those defeats and beat him this time. Benneteau is ranked 31 places higher than Querrey in the rankings and is by no way a bad hard court plater. I think the odds are way too good to turn down a Benneteau win. Querrey is a player who is on the way up and is only 19 years old, and I think that he might one day be a good player on the circuit, but at the moment I think he is too inconsistent and will be defeated by expiereince in this match-up. Strength 8/10 - Berrer To beat Ginepri - Bet Direct - 13/8 Two players who have had contrasting years. Berrer has started to make significent stides in his career by putting in good performances on all surfaces. He has been playing a mixture of challenger and ATP events and has been performing welll in both. Wheras Ginepri has had little to shout about and has maintained his position of mid 40's in the rankings for all of the year. He has not been playing well at all. I think that the odds flatter a off-form Ginepri and that this could well be a Berrer win as he trys to improve upon an already good year for himself. H2H is 0:

WinningTipster
Re: Tennis 23-29 July Hi guys, following pick for tomorrow: ATP TOUR, UMAG HAASE TO D MANTILLA @ 2 at stanjames The two just played last week with Haase winning 6:3, 6:2. Haase is a former junior world no.3 and he started to realize his potential at ATP level, reaching SF last week. Mantilla at 32 has not played much this year and lost most of has just 1 ATP level win. Haase just has two much power for Mantilla, and after such a convincing win last week, Haase will definitely have a psychological advantage also. Yeah I agree with you on that one, good price you got it at aswell. Haase has been in some good form of late, I think he got to the semis in his last tournament (Dutch Open), the same one he beat Mantilla in. andre gomes
Re: Tennis 23-29 July ATP Kitzbuhel - Feliciano Lopez vs Andreas Seppi Lopez Rating system - 3,12 Rochus rating system - 2,85 Head 2 Head: Lopez 1-1 Seppi Feliciano Lopez (rank 84) had a very nice tournament in Stuttgart, where he reached semi finals. After saving a couple of match points against Carlos Berlocq in the first round, the Spanish player beated Tomas Berdych and Juan Carlos Ferrero in the following rounds in a great way, before losing to the eventual champion Rafael Nadal. Lopez is capable of playing at a very high level when he is on and last week's performance must have given him some confidence to face the rest of the season. He likes playing tennis at high altitude and his results in Gstaad and in this very same tournament really shows that. He has a pretty good serve and his forehand will make the rhythm of the match quite fast and he will make Seppi run miles tomorrow. Andreas Seppi (rank 83) recently lost his best opportunity ever to win an ATP title. He was serving for the title in Gstaad against Paul-Henri Mathieu just to lose four games in a row and destroying all his chances to finally get a big title. The Italian player took last week off to recuperate from this horrible moment, but I believe he didn't forget this match yet, because he knows that this was probably a once in a lifetime chance in his career and he missed it. He has a 1-4 record in this tournament, which shows that he doesn't like the conditions in here, unlike Lopez who reached semi finals in 2003 and quarter finals in 2004 and 2005. The Italian doesn't have a big serve and Lopez's forehand should be able to make Seppi struggle while serving. Lopez likes the conditions in here and he comes from a great result in Stuttgart. The altitude of Kitzbuhel helps his big serve and forehand and he will have no problems in holding serve most of the times. Seppi had a great week in Gstaad two weeks ago, but he ruined everything in the final and I doubt that his mind will be at 100% tomorrow. He never had great results in here and his second serves are likely to get killed by Lopez's big forehand. Both player have equal talent to play on clay, but the altitude gives Lopez the edge in this match. Pick: Feliciano Lopez @1.83 on Pinnacle (Stake 7/10) More in http://andregomes.apostaganha.pt Good Luck :hope
Giovanni
Re: Tennis 23-29 July ATP Umago - 26th July. Pavel vs Haase Andrei Pavel at 1.83 from Betfair: My bet posted over the better experience of Pavel, 33 years old, no more so high in ATP rank, but anyway able to play decent tennis games yet. To add Pavel is playing on his best surface where he has had good results during the season and he came out from good match won against Ljubicic in 2 sets. Robin Haase was not been IMO so impresive in the match won against Mantilla, recovering 1 set: he played without continuity and he struggled so much also in the 3rd set to close the match. I think that the experience on clay will be the factor for Pavel.
Giovanni
Re: Tennis 23-29 July ATP Indianapolis Karlovic vs Querrey Ivo Karlovic at 1.87 from Pinnacle. Karlovic is playing IMO his best tennis of the season, where they has shwon too many blows, loosing matches over matches. He refounded good serve at Indianapolis and he can play his preferite tennis game, taking the net so many times and holding under pressure their opponents. Sam Querrey didn't play so impressive: he has not shown particular shots, normal serve and he seems to be very weak for Karlovic in this fire condition. Giovanni
Re: Tennis 23-29 July ATP Umago - 27 July Troicki to beat Berlocq at 2.52 (5dimes) Troicki is playing sensational tennis game, probable his best tournament of the season, overall when they came trough beating Novak Djokovic. He's standing very low in ATP rank (176), but this seems his week of the year, watching how he's holding the court. Berlocq, by the other side, used to play at good standard: he is specialist of clay, as many argentinos, and his actual rank (75) shows how he can compete in these kind of tournaments. Anyway Berlocq was not been so sufficient in the season: on the last 2 tournaments played he didn't go on through the 2nd round. It's clear how Troicki must be the underdog, cause his inspiration could end drastically, but if he will play as against Djokovic did, then he should pass trough Berlocq and, at these odds, the risk has value. Giovanni
Re: Tennis 23-29 July ATP Umago - 27 July Carlos Moya to beat Ferrer at 2.20 (bet365) Carlos Moya is continuing to have strong feeling with Umag tournament. He always reached good results year after year and, despite Moya was been considered always at the end of his career, he is always the number 20 of ATP ranking. By the other side David Ferrer is standing at the 15th, playing very well on clay surface. Statistics suggested that Ferrer won the last 2 in a row, but the general balance is by Moya side (7-5), anyway Moya has shown to be in good condition, so no reasons to leave away these odds for him. DAC
Re: Tennis 23-29 July Not really a tennis man myself but had a bit of interest and watched the Chela v Roitman match yesterday. It was a 5 set fix in my opinion and I’ve heard the betting patterns confirm this. Roitman is playing Verdasco today, I’m having a large one on Verdasco at 1/
