Kanga
Re: Salisbury 14/07 7:05 ... Legendary Guest 2nd to Winker Watson on first appearance - but subsequent run was a huge disappointment and something clearly wrong at the time. Has had 77 days to recover and given an extra furlong - An equal run to the first would see him win this - danger is with flawed genius a stoute/moore combo but on times the selection have the upper hand. At 4/1 it's a free one at E/W but I'll also play the reverse forecast.
writeups
Re: Salisbury 14/07 i have a friend at the course tonight, and there are big words going round for a horse in the 6.35pm, Meridian Line from the John Portman yard apparently has a buzz around the ring, finished second last time out at Windsor over a extended 5f on heavy ground, the word from the track is that the yard are optimistic of a bold run and have been advised a each way play on this tonight.. Wups Shoot the messenger on course lol
mowgli77
Re: Salisbury 14/07 Tibouchina 8.35 Salisbury Local trainer R Beckett has had 2 winners from 2 handicappers out this season and has had 4/6 when Sanders has taken the ride. Last 3 races have seen a formline of 112 and that includes firm ground (good to firm tonight). Up 7lb from last win but only 1lb from it's last run when carrying a 6lb penalty and only just lost by 1/2 a length. Was eased when winning off 63 and won by 6 lengths but that form a bit suspect. Zonta Zitkala/Gyroscope (Reverse Forecast) 9.05 Salisbury ZZ had 3 runs to get a mark of 76 and won off that mark last time out in a maiden at Pontefract. That is a stiff uphill finish but it was expected to run well, went off as fav and stayed on at the end of the race but that was over 6f. Gyroscope ran into a decent horse last time out over 1m but beat the rest easily enough and is better suited to this mile trip. Comes from the in form Stoute stable with the in form jockey Ryan Moore on board.
