I had to open this thread because this is my biggest weakness. I'm talking about post-flop. This is assuming the board is not so dangerous and it's a micro stakes cash game (you are also multitabling and you don't have PT or any other programs :lol). How do you play your top pairs or overpairs at the flop? 4th street? 5th street?

Re: how to play overpairs or top pair Firstly, get PT. download a torrent if you must. If your site doesn't support it move to another site. You need to understand your game. But in answer to your question, the most important skill you have with these hands is knowing when to lay them down. They are very dangerous, get them wrong and you will win a lot of small pots, and lose a few big ones. At the flop, lookout for straight and flush draws, bet out a decent chunk and try and take down the pot there and then. If you are reraised by anyone other than a very loose player (again you need PT here) fold. Multiple callers here should be a big concern. On the turn, if you don't make trips, it's getting difficult. I'm feeling deeply in trouble and looking for a way out. If i'm first to act, I'll check and hope to see a free card, otherwise folding to a bet that doesn't give me pot odds to call. count your odds, if there value to call do so, if not fold. I'll call a continuation bet of 1 - 2 BB here, not much else. Bluffs on the river are difficult, if you're still here with a multiple callers your in trouble, if you haven't improved spend no money here. fold to any bet. Always be on the lookout for a chance to represent a flush or a straight, if there is 4 of a suit on the board or a 4 card straight draw on the board, and it's checked round to you, bet out around 5 - 7 BB and try and take the pot down.
