Re: Curragh 01/07 3.50 Al Shemali ew Okay Eagle Mountain stands out in this race, but interesting how Ladbrokes,who a known to be very close to the stable have been biggest price about this one all this week. So with that little doubt in mind i've looked around for an alternative. On a testing course like the Curragh i can't see Boscobel lasting out the trip on the soft going and its form doesn't look good enough. Royal and Regal could be better in the mud , but was beat in France by a horse who came nowhere in the Derby ( Anton Chekhov). Al Shemali has shown form in the 2000 Guineas and behind Authorised in the Dante. Staying on in both races as was the case at Ascot last week on fast ground. On breeding and evidence of win as a 2yo soft ground will suit, and the step up to 1m 4f could bring about enough improvement to get into the places.
