Sunday Naps

Recommended Posts

340 Ponty : Alfie Flits Won this last year and likes soft ground, which cant be said for a few of his rivals, been laid out for this again and Callan takes the ride after they got on well last time, The Geezer looks a danger but hasnt ran for ages so may just need it, 4/1 at the mo but could end up fav as the front two look like drifters to me,.... let it rain, let it rain, let it rain!

Re: Sunday Naps Great As Gold 4.10 Pontefract Tribe looked to be the main danger but trainer states it wont run on soft ground. It was already good to soft and its pouring down here so a likely non runner. Many of these won't like sloppy conditions but Great As Gold has won on heavy and loves a stamina test, winning previously over 18f and 20f on heavy ground. Multiple course and distance winner, was beaten by Kayf Aramis at York but likely to reverse form at its favourite track. Looked beaten last time out when struggling at the turn with 2f left to go but stayed on and got up well. Needs to be ridden closer to the pace this time because if it kicks on with 1f or 2f to go it won't get caught and others will struggle in these conditions. Stays longer than the mother in law so if it looks beaten it might be worth backing in running for a late finish. WIN NAP
