We now have tournaments running every night at 8:15pm. In each of these events you accumulate points which contribute towards the June Poker league standings. The new qualification structure for the GUKPT has attracted a host of new tournament talent to Blue Square so the league should now be more competitive than ever. Once more this month we will see who has skill (and luck!) to top the tables at the end. The June Poker League will commence on Monday June 4th and run through to Sunday June 24th. The top finishers in the following tournaments will be awarded Poker League points: Monday 8.15pm$10 NL Hold’em Freezeout $200 Added Tuesday 8.15pm$5 NL Hold’em Rebuy $100 Added Wednesday 8.15pm$15 PL Hold’em Freezeout $300 Added Thursday 8.15pm$5 PL Omaha Rebuy $100 Added Friday 8.15pm$500 G’teed Saturday 8.15pm$50NL $1000 G’teed Sunday 8.15pm$25 NL Hold’em Freezeout $500 Added Points will be awarded for the top finishers in each event as follows: 1st 13pts2nd 10pts3rd8pts4th7pts5th6pts6th5pts7th4pts8th3pts9th2pts10th - 18th 1ptThe Prizes 1st Seat to Leg 6 of The GUKPT in Newcastle + expenses worth a total of $2500 2nd $500 3rd $250 4th $100Upon the conclusion of Event 21 after 3 weeks of intense competition the players finishing 2nd to 21st in the league table will be invited to take part in a special freeroll event to be held on Saturday June 30th at 6pm where a further seat to the GUKPT Newcastle will be up for grabs. Players participating in the each of the 21 Blue Square Classic League tournaments from Monday 4th June to Sunday May 27th earn points towards the league. Points are awarded as follows: 1st - 13 pts, 2nd - 10 pts, 3rd 8 pts, 4th - 7 pts, 5th - 6 pts, 6th - 5 pts, 7th - 4 pts, 8th - 3 pts, 9th 2 pts, 10th–18th – 1pt 2. The tournaments that count towards the league are the 21 Blue Square Classic League events taking place between Monday June 4th to Sunday June 24th on bluesqpoker.com at 8.15pm BST Daily. 3. The winner will receive a seat into the GUKPT Leg 6 Newcastle and second will places 2 to 4th will win the prize money as stated. 4. In the event of any ties, the player with the greatest number of final table finishes over all 21 events will be receive the Playoff place. If players are still tied then a countback of 1st places, 2nd places etc for each player will be made until a winner is confirmed. 5. The top two players will also be invited to take part in a GUKPT freeroll On Saturday June 30th. 6. In the event of a tie for 20th place, all the players tied for 20th place will be invited to take part in the Freeroll. In such an event, the number of players participating in the Freeroll may exceed twenty. 7. The prizes are not refundable, exchangeable or transferable 8. The promoter reserves the right to withdraw this offer at any time. 9. No correspondence will be entered into. 10. Guppie Posted June 2, 2007 Author Share Posted June 2, 2007 Re: Blue sq poker league Have qualified for may league freeroll,sure it said 2nd june but nothing up yet?also spoke to live support spoke str8 away took 20 minutes to answer 1st question of when it was-with when was it scheduled,told him waited 45 minutes for a reply and nothing dont think i'll be bothering with this again.
