AFC Champions League ( 9th May 2007 )

I'm might not be betting here but I've got some info to share here. Hopefully can be useful for any PLers who want to bet tonight in AFC. The info that I have will be Persik Kediri against Urawa Reds. Probable starters for both teams : PERSIK (3-4-3): 1-Kurnia Sandy (GK), 18-Aris Budi, 4-Aris Indarto, 6-Zainuri (DF), 25-Kusnul Yuli, 12-Harianto, 28-Ronald Fagundez, 2-Erol Iba (M), 30-Danilo Fernando, 13-Budi Sudarsono, 10-Cristian Gonzales (F) Substitutes: 27-Wahyudi (k), 17-Dwi Priyo Utomo, 18-Suswanto, 15-Sulis Budi Prasetyo, 8-Jefri Dwi Hadi, 2-Yohanes Yuniyantara, 7-Berta Yuwana Putra URAWA (4-4-2): 23-Ryota Tsuzuki (GK), 2-Keisuke Tsuboi, 4-Marcus Tulio Tanaka, 19-Hideki Uchidate, 17-Makoto Hasebe (DF), 8-Shinji Ono, 10-Robson Ponte, 13-Keita Suzuki, 20-Satoshi Horinouchi (M), 22-Yuki Abe, 21-Washington (F) Substitutes: 1-Norihiro Yamagishi, 5-Fabio Nene, 7-Tomoyuki Sakai, 14-Tadaaki Hirakawa, 18-Junki Koike, 30-Masayuki Okano Persik will have Danilo Fernando back for this clash and this will certainly strengthen's Persik attack since he is a core player for Persik's. While the Reds will miss Nobuhisa Yamada, their captain, after acquiring a red card on their last match against Shanghai Shenhua. So beside those two, both team are pretty much in full condition. With Sydney expected to beat Shanghai, Urawa must beat Persik to stay in contention for the next round in the AFC. However, as we all know Solo city is not an easy city to travel to. Even Sydney were beaten 2 - 1 there surprisingly. I watched the match between Sydney vs Persik last 2 week, despite getting beaten soundly 3 - 0 by Sydney I have to say for a team with so much physical disadvantages compared to the Sydney players' , they played quite well in the first half. And today against Japanese opposition, I think they should have a lot easier time since physical wise they shouldn't differ much while humid condition should also favour home team. On top of that, pitch condition in Stadion Manahan isn't a top class pitch like what most Urawa players are used to play on in J-League matches. Arguably, this might gives advantage to the Indonesian as they will be more used to the pitch compared to Urawa players. All in all, Persik +1 AH on 188bet @ 2.149 might worth a stab. ( Pinnacle even only have the +1 AH @ 1.926 atm )

Re: AFC Champions League ( 9th May 2007 ) Another info I have will be Kawasaki vs Arema Malang Arema will only travel with 13 players today ! Yep thats right !! 13 Mean 11 starters and 2 substitutes only !! They will miss their two foreign players in Essa Mvondo and Bruno Casmir. Core players like Suroso, Alex Pulalo, Agung Yudha dan Ortizan Solossa will also miss this clash. At home I just checked, Arema were beaten quite soundly 1 - 3 and today they are travelling to Japan with a very depleted squad I can see a goal party here unless Kawasaki are to field their 2nd string team. But looking from the probable squad, those players are not 2nd string players at all. I will investigate more on the Japanese side for possible line up soon, so stay tuned ! I just got those information of probable line up from some Indonesian news, so line up for Arema Malang should be very accurate. KAWASAKI FRONTALE (4-4-2): 1-Eiji Kawashima (GK), 2-Hiroki Ito, 5-Yoshinobu Minowa, 13-Shuhei Terada, 29-Hiroyuki Taniguchi (DF), 10-Carlos Juninho, 11-Magnum Tavares, 14-Kengo Nakamura, 19-Yusuke Mori (M), 26-Kazuhiro Marakami, 16-Jong Tae-se (F) Substitutes: 21-Takashi Aizawa, 3-Hideki Sahara, 4-Yusuke Igawa, 6-Takahiro Kawamura, 17-Masayuki Ochiai, 24-Masahiro Ohashi, 7-Marsaru Kurotsu, 23-Satoshi Kukino, 27-Ken Tokura AREMA (4-4-2): 1-Hendro Kartiko (GK), 24-Richi Parvita, 16-Rasmoyo, 29-Sunar Sulaiman, 27-Sutaji (DF), 14-Arif Sunyono, 71-Akbar Rasyid, 11-Ponaryo Astaman, 8-Elie Aiboy (M), 21-Patricio Morales, 13-Jainal Ichwan (FW) Substitutes: 20-Hengki Oba, 7-Prastowo Coach: Miroslav Janu Suggested bet : Kawasaki F - 2 AH @ 1.8 pinnacle Asian bookies have like 188bet have them at -2.25 @ 1.7 !! I think I will take this as medium low stakes bet. Obviously Pinnacle is a bit lagging behind here imho
