2.10 Newmarket: THUNDER STORM CAT

Should appreciate the extra furlong to a mile on a surface that he is bred for winning on.

2.45 Newmarket: ABHISHEKA

4 year olds have a good record in this race and this can get Bin Suroor off to a flying start for this season. Ran well in Dubai when 2nd at Nad Al Sheba and has won 3 out of 5 races 'over here' last term likely to progress for that run LTO.

3.25 Newmarket 2000 Guineas MAJOR CADEAUX.

Beat Dutch Art LTO when it was fancied for this race, hardly came off the bridle for that impressive win.He picked up really well inside the final furlong, and connections confirmed he is one of the best colts they've had through their hands in recent years, and "will get the trip in the Guineas". 4.35 Newmarket: ACAPULCO Beat an 82 rated rival on his debut in a maiden at Navan and looks a high- class colt in the making. 5.45 Newmarket: BANDAMA Progressive sort last season and wasn't at his best the last 2 runs on unfavourable ground. An earlier fast ground 2nd at Goodwood gives us good form to go on and another positive is the booking of Mick Kinane.

Re: Newmarket 05/05/07 2.10 Voodoo Moon to place @ 1.9 Won well last week at Bath when making just about all the running over 7 furlongs. Up to a mile today which looked like it will suit although Mark Johnston hasn't had to many winner the past week his horses are still running into places. IS up 4 pounds today but has the ground to suit and should go close again. 2.45 Echelon (nap) A proven group horse coming up against mostly listed class performers to me this looks like the good thing of the day. In form Sir Stoute and McEvoy team up again who can do little wrong at the moment. Although making her seasonal debut race fitness shouldn't be a problem. 3.25 Strategic Prince to place @ 3.7 Has very solid form from last year and has his ground today. Although has been said to be more of a derby horse than a miler I can see Strategic Prince running a big race today for Eddie Ahern. Can not see this being out of the money. 3rd in last years Dehurst when the ground was on the soft side which didn't suit him. That form is rock solid 2 legnhts behind the two best 2 year olds last season. Has the form and if trained on at 3.7 is a nice price for the place. 4.35 Acapulco This looks to be one of Aidans top 3 year olds this year you would expect him to win this if he is to run a big race in the derby. Won well on his debut although completly different ground today I can't see this being a problem.
