Ramirez Hidalgo is also a tricky match.He is playing Gil who is playing at home and who is not so bad clay courter.Ramirez played good tournament last week but it all depends how he will treat this tournament as next week is Rome.He played really good at Rome last year and he has a lot of points to defend and he must play qualies there. Importantly, Vassallo-Arguello defeated Lee in Miami on hard court just 3 weeks ago by 6:4 6:2, so on clay he must be a favorite. Haas is in his best form while Grosjean is out-of-form. Haas is no.6 in 2007 while Grosjean is no. 88. The H2H is 4:3 to Grosjean, but Haas has 3:0 since 2001. Playing in Germany makes Haas a favorite on all surfaces against Grosjean of 2007. Make of that what you will but their motivation could be questionable. The players are Mathieu, Grosjean, Garcia-Lopez and Spadea. the latter 2 are very long prices anyway and not of interest to anyone other than those who lump on sgort priced favourites. The first 2 are interesting though. Mathieu is priced at 1.46 to beat Juan Monaco. On current form the price is justifiable but given that he is in such form he might fancy a crack at the much more important Masters Series event in Rome next week.
