Recommended Posts

Norway: Adeccoligaen or 1.divison, starts up the 9.april. I have tryed to write a little on each club, and hopes this helps you all a little Bodø/Glimt Brought in new good players in goalkeeper (Londak), defence (Bjørdal and Blomgren)and attacking (Martins). Dont play home on natural gras, and has a little bennefit on that. Not to much money in the club, last season they had to sell some important players (Sakariassen and Hansen). Not to much pace in the defence. Very important Berg(37) and Johansen(35) is a little to old. Top 4 place for Bodø/Glimt this year. Bryne 3.place last season, but lost in the qualification to Tippeligaen. Sakariassen should score some goals for them. Got new good players in Landro, Kåven, De Haro and Midtsian. Has a good and big sqaud. If Sakariassen dont score or get injryed, Bryne will get some problems with fighting in the top. Top 4 on Bryne. HamKam Relegated from Tippeligaen last season, but has most of the plasyers still in the sqaud. Sold Corrales amd Buer Johansen, got Mannix (ex. Liverpool) in. Got a new coach in Erlandsen, trained IFK Gøteborg last season. Played many trainig matches with bad results, and a bad beginning of the season could give them more problems. Should fight for promotion! Haugesund Has an experience coach in Skarsfjord. Got some new good players in Castro, Fagnastøl, Brandshaug, Weaver and Strøm. Has a good sqaud, but need a player that scores a lot of goals. Many new players and they have also sold some, might take some time before everybody finds their place in the formation. Somewhere between 8 and 12 place for Haugesund. Hønefoss Got many new good players in Byfuglien, Demidov, Hanssen, Bangura and Kleppe. New coach in Hansen Wold. Many different attackers and a good starting linup if all are fit. Very important Lafton has some problems with injury and the defence looks a little to weak without him. Around 4-6 place. Kongsvinger New coach in Berntsen. Good signings in Månsson, Guiomar, Hansen, Torp and Nås. Hardworking team without the biggest stars. Lost topscorer Gundersen, and are missing some players to take them to a higher level. Around 7-10 place. LøvHam High working moral and a team that are well organized. New players in Storesund, Walde, Sari and Birkeland. Lost some of their best players after last season, Chhadeh, Landro and Tennebø. Not the biggest sqaud and needs that Låstad scores some goals. Not to much money either, so very unlikely they will buy new players. A hard fight against relegation. Mandalskameratene Promoted from 2.divison. Has experience players that has played on this level before. New players in Andersen, Pedersen, Hægeland, Kaagh and Knudsen. Lost important Fagnastøl, Herfindal and Stray since last season. A small squad and are vulnerable for injurys. Has to fight against relegation. Molde Was relegated from Tippeligaen. Has a good sqaud, with players that has played on national teams. New coach is Jonevret and new players in Tomaz jr, Mostrøm and Kosakela. Has the best stadium in this divison. Sold important Gram, Rudi, Mavric, Kallio and Ohr. Needs new players on some positions. Should fight for promotion. Moss Played very well in the training matches. Has very good offence players and creates many chances on set-pieces. New players in Ensrud, Herrera and Strand. Lost important Martinsen, Haraldsen and Wright. Very unstabel results last year, and miss a topscorer. Should end somewhere around 4-8 place. Notodden Notodden was promoted from 2. divison, and has get some good new signings in Thompson, Mayard, Ystaas, Midtgarden and Garba. Has money to use if they need more and a experienced coach in Halvorsen. Good options in attack and a big sqaud of players. Problem for Notodden is that they never have played on this level before. Has one of worst stadiums in the league and no traditions to show from before. Made some changes in their defence that could make some problems. Notodden will be around 7-11 place. Raufoss Promoted from 2. divison. Got some good and interesting signings in Nadj, Jonsson, Hemberg, Frejd and Hörkkö.Made good results in the training games and has a good coach in Opjordsmoen. Many new faces has come before this season, and it takes time to find their right places. Needs a topscorer if not Ojokwu becomes a hit. Hard fight against relegation for Raufoss this year. Skeid Promoted from 2. divison. Has many players thats has played on this level before. Arneberg, Kråkmo and Laajab is new players. Coach Jacobsen should be abel to get the best out of each player. Has to play their home games at Bislett and not on their regular homefield Voldsløkka. Has many good players, but they ain’t always play like a team. Many of the young players may leave in the summer to bigger clubs. Should end around 10-14place. Sogndal This will be the first season they play on their new homeground. Has a good and big sqaud, mixed with youngster and older players as Flo, Skjeldestad and Bolstad. New players are Palatu, Nadolski, Lubieniecki, Waltrip and Kanu. Has a new coach in Emberland, witch has given the players and fans new belief on them self. Might have the best midfield in Adeccoligaen. Sold important Stenslid to Viking. Dont have to mant options on top, and needs that Flo continues to score. Somewhere around 4-8 place. Sparta Saved their place in Adeccoligaen last season with a great finish. Has many young players that so far haven’t got all of their potencial out. New players in Tronseth, Johansen, Forsberg, Wiig and Latyr. Last season they loaned some players, and that saved their place in Adeccoligaen, and might have to do so this year to. Not many people shows up when they play at home, and dont have much money to spend. Lost important Lubieniecki, Dahm, Tran and MacAllister. Hopes that players that hasn’t got any good results in other clubs, will be better for them. Has a small sqaud and some problems between some unhappy players and the coach. This year i guess Sparta will be relegated. Tromsdalen Saved their place on better goal score last season. Very strong at home since their games an’t been played on natural gras. Is a club that like to attack, and plays technical and fast footbal. Important Ahamed is still in the club. New players are Stenberg, Martinsen, Johnsgård and Lamøy. No easy to get new good players to Tromsdalen and that gives a pretty unstabel starting lineup. Gets normally problems playing awaygames. Not the biggest sqaud and lost some important players in Herrera, Karlsen and Strøm. Somewhere around 11-14 place. So to sum up a little: I think it will be a pretty even season. There are many clubs that will fight in the top, but Molde, HamKam and Bodø/Glimt has the best sqauds at the moment. After these Bryne, Hønefoss, Sogndal and Moss will fight. Not to much different in these 7 clubs, but form, injury and new players will be important on how it will end. Kongsvinger, Haugesund and Notodden should not be in a danger for relegation, but behind them Skeid, Tromsdalen, LøvHam, Raufoss, Mandalskameratene and Sparta will fight against relegation. Re: Preview to Adeccoligaen, Norway Match Sogndal IL - Mandalskameratene Date 23.IX.2007 Select Mandalskameratene +1.0 AH Odd 2.19 Bookmaker PinnacleSports.com Stake 8 from 10 Reason After a poor and disappointing start of the season, Mandalskamerat seems to have improved a lot, judging by their recent results. Although they still hold the last position in the Norwegian second league table, with 13 points and a negative goal range (30 goals scored and 68 goals received), we have strong reasons to believe that Mandalskamerat is in a surprising uptrend. They recorded a 4-1 away win, at Raufoss, 2 rounds ago and a 3-0 win over Lov Ham at home, last round. Their fantastic away win over Raufoss should give them the confidence they seem to have lacked this season.

On the other side, Sogndal is in an obvious downtrend lately. They haven’t won a single match in their last 9 meetings (3 draws and 6 defeats). Mandalskamerat should and has the ability to overcome their opponent. Tradition is also on their side, as they lost only one of their previous 4 encounters against Sogndal, having won one match and drawn twice. Mandalskamerat will get at least one point from this clash.
