2.50 Kempton: SPOT THE SUBBIE 2nd LTO over a 1m2f so a drop back to his favoured 1m this C+D winner can take this after doing the double at this trip back in January.

Callan takes the ride for the first time and if anyone can get this home today its him. Obvious danger is the Fav who

is back up to a mile though an absence from the track of 127 days means his fitness will have to be taken on trust.

Re: Lingfield ~ Sunday Poor card today but a couple of bets:- SPRING GODDESS 2.30 Lingfield RPF 4/1 Only 8 runners in this Cl 4 handicap, but potentially quite a competitive heat. Likely fav will be Reeling N'Rocking from the Barry Hills yard, probably due to its lto win. However, further investigation makes this horse opposable on 3 major counts....off course for 127 days, big step up in grade from Cl 6 to Cl 4 and best form is 7f so is likely to be swallowed up late on. Spot The Subbie won 2 races back to back in January, but has been punished by the handicapper and struggles off this mark as shown last week. Another step up in grade won't help either. Final Tune is running well at the minute and it wouldn't be a surprise to see this horse in the mix but there's the suspicion that its mark is higher enough. Binnion Bay continues to have an excellent season but penalty for last weeks win will be enough to prevent it doubling up. Northern Desert is hard to win with and the 87 day break is against this horse, whilst Glencalvie and Magic Rush are both out of form and could not be backed with confidence. This leaves us with Jamie Spencer's mount, Spring Goddess, from the in form Jarvis stable. Off course for 60 days but that shouldn't inconvenience. Generally hard to win with but has lots in its favour today. Likes the track, off a 1lb lower mark, recent form in this grade when 1,3/4L 3rd lto and easiest task for some time. Would be a major shock to see this horse finish out of the frame. 5.5w / 1.93p on Betfair Will post next selection shortly.....
