Double Stakes About.....

Recommended Posts

....anybody use these much? Opinions? Am I right in thinking, as an example that..... 5 selections in 'any pair (10) 1pt win both selections D-S-A' would cost 20pts. If 3 were to win at say, 4/1 (not impossible!), the returns would be: 6 x 1pt singles @ 4/1 = 30pts 6 x 2pts singles @ 4/1 (less 2pts each single) = 48pts 6 x 1pt singles (all 3 winners x both losers, less 2pts each single) = 18pts So that would be a total of 96pts, almost 4/1 on the total outlay for only being 3/5th correct? To go further, just 1 7/1 winner and 4 losers would return 24pts (8pts less 2pts, x4?) Just trying to get my head round it.

Re: Double Stakes About..... Fleet, in my experience the SSA and DSA bets are great when you have both winners but not a lot of good with only one winner in the double. Same with the Round Robin bet with SSA, ok with all 3 winning. Used to be a nightmare to work out in the shop but found this example if it helps any? 1 stake A anything to come (a-t-c-) 2 stakes B, 1 stake B a-t-c 2 stakes A. One winner gives the same return as a single except 2 stakes are not returned. 2 winners gives the same return as 3 singles on each selection but with 4 stake units deducted from the returns. Best of luck, BH
