Aykay1
24 9 or 10 year olds have run in the last 10 years. 4th place was the best they managed apart from ROOSTER BOOSTER winning it last year at the age of 9. Can he buck the trends again? I'll leave that up to you but for the sake of the trends im reluctantly crossing him off the list. Being 10 years old also found out the great Istrabraq who was pulled up. The most notable trend for this race is that 18 of the last 19 winners won their last race. This eliminates nearly the whole field. In fact it only leaves us with 2 - RIGMAROLE and FOREMAN. p.s. - If you chose to ignore the age trend for ROOSTER BOOSTER, dont cross him off the list solely on the count that he lost his last race as to get narrowly beaten into 2nd place conceding lumps of weight as he did last time out was as good as a victory anyway. 6 year olds have a strong record - in fact they have a 50% strike rate in this race in the last 25 years. - this strengthens the case for RIGMAROLE and FOREMAN. Im not intentionally siding with German breds but FOREMAN is just that which does him no harm and looks as though he is the best outsider - 20/1 with hills. RIGMAROLE doesnt appear to be as reliant on the pace of the race as ROOSTER BOOSTER and has beathen the champ and INTERSKY FALCON already this season so he is my main bet. Bets (10 points to stake:) RIGMAROLE - 7 points win FOREMAN - 1.5 points ew
