if this has been discussed before, can someone delete this thread and direct me ? :) I'm heading out end of November (gonna miss the PL bash sadly). I'm being bankrolled effectively by a guy I used to work for, gonna pay for me to go out there and play poker (for a cut obviously) but I've only got 5/6 days and need to find the best value/standard games to play. Any suggestions ?

Re: Best Places to Play Poker in Vegas the best value is usually off the strip in the older casinos (binions etc)but the standard of play is usually better there. on the strip the rakes are a bit harsh but there are loads of fish . it really depends on what you fancy playing cash/stt or mtt. i found 1 good ploy is to get to a room a bit after they have poker lessons on (usually afternoons at 1 or 2 oclock)then try and take out the newbies once they start playing for real money;) . i done this in the luxor for a few days last time i went and cleaned up in the $50 +$12.50 stts making about $600 in 3 days . if you want to be making big money the bellagio is probably the best place to go as the standard tourneys are a bigger buy in and still have a fair bit of dead money in them, but watch out for the sharks in here :eek keep plugging away at the fish and you should do well. cash games are the same ,the high end casinos tend to have the higher rollers but attract more sharks because of it ,but as you are sharing profits these games will give you a better chance of actually making a decent cut. one good website with all cardrooms and tourney info is vegas.com that should give you a good idea of whats on where and when:ok
