muppet77 Posted October 14, 2006 Author Share Posted October 14, 2006 Re: jammed numbers on a menu, for example syst and strategy, there are numbers in brackets next to some threads, that say how many are currently viewing each thread. these numbers are always the same - they never change. a while back they varied every minute or so, to show how many people were looking at each thread. does that make sense? If so make sur ethat the page refreshes every visit to the page (and you're not looking at an old cached version) Goto Tools/Internet options and on the general tab select Browsing History/Settings and make sure it set to check for newer versions every visit to the web page :ok Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

That's not how many people are viewing the thread, it's how many have subscribed to the thread (to get email notification when it's updated).
