Re: Golf: Uspga Championship Gone for Jim Furyk @ 13/2,each way(1/4 odds 12345) in Betfred's top American w/o Woods market.In excellent form,plays well in these parts(8th when hosted at Medinah,1999),and would be surprised if 5 other Americans finished above him,IMO.As low as 4/1 elsewhere(Tote),whilst all other firms going just first 4 places,though at same 1/4 odds,in this market? Boyles go 12/1 for Furyk w/o Woods,which is the other way to go,but this way it takes away threat of Garcia,Els,Singh,Goosen,Donald,etc.Best of luck everyone,.....:hope

Re: Golf: Uspga Championship Just a quick one before the price goes; David Howell Top European 20/1 Betfred (1/4 1234) Much lower in other places and expect this to be shorter tomorrow. You need a player with confidence and with Majors form in my opinion, he has both and showed glimpses of returning to top form. Plays well in big events and seems to tinker with his game in lesser ones. Has thrown no end of tournaments away on the saturday but with a lot of europeans out of form he could still land this market. More tomorrow, BH
