staffy Posted August 7, 2006 Share Posted August 7, 2006 Myself and Osesame are going to try out a system based on our ratings and more importantly who we think are going to win. At the end of last season I devised a system whereby depending on how a team does in each game depends on how many points they get. The points range from 50 down to -50 per peformance. The system has been quite good at times. There are occasions though when it fails big time and we aim to weed out the teams and leagues that do this. We will be starting with a bank of 100 points. Each bet to begin with will be 10 points. After every winning bet we will be placing 10% of our stakes for that bet into a reserve bank. After we have doubled the initial bank we will increase bets to 20 points. The idea of having the reserve bank is incase we hit a bad run. Which hopefully we wont. With all bets we reserve the right to cancel the bet up to 15 minutes before KO if we feel something is not quite right.
